My career in event planning started out so innocently...I found myself planning a small corporate get-together at a New Orleans convention. Finding a grand piano, pianist, planning a menu, selecting décor and designing invitations gave me a first-hand crash course in the art of special events. Twenty years later I find that it's still an art form – strong attention to detail, thorough research and creative design techniques top my list of the must-haves for special events.
